This week, Speech Language Pathologists from all over the world will be meeting in Florida at the National American Speech Hearing Language Association Convention. Interested in learning more about how to systematically monitor language growth in kindergarten and create tiered interventions to ensure that all children are growing in critical language skills? Attend our ASHA poster presentation!
Speech Language Literacy Lab (SL3) and Eastern Illinois will be presenting on how universal benchmarking with tools such as the Kindergarten Language Benchmark Assessment can help guide school teams in decision making. Find out how KLBA data can be used to create intervention groups, with school personnel other than the SLP, providing much needed Common-Core based language intervention for students who are at-risk for future reading comprehension difficulties.
