This past week, Naomi Konikoff (Speech Language Literacy Lab) and Angela Anthony (Eastern Illinois University) presented on research that supports the Kindergarten Language Benchmark Assessment at the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Conference in Florida.
We had many great questions from schools just starting language RTI programs. Attendees were also excited to see all of the uses for KLBA data. A link to our presentation handout is here.
At the conference, Naomi also had the chance to meet with popular speech bloggers Danielle Reed (Sublime Speech) and Jenn Alcorn (Crazy Speech World). You can read their reviews of the KLBA here:
Thank you to all who attended! Check out SL3 at the upcoming Illinois Speech Hearing Association Conference this February. We'll be presenting "Response to Intervention for Language: Universal Benchmarking for Kindergarten."
