We invite you to join a new facebook group called Case Studies for the Speech Language Pathologist. https://www.facebook.com/groups/648887091904319/
The explosion of online sharing is fantastic for helping students. However, there is always question of protecting our clients´privacy when we post up information linked with our own names.
This facebook group will allow members to present case studies of students anonymously. To do this, SLPs can private message the page administrators (Jennifer Preschern, MA CCC-SLP from Speech Language Literacy Lab and Sarah Warchol, MA CCC-SLP) with complete information on the case(no names of students please). We will then post your case study, so that the case can be completely disconnected from your personal information.
Other SLPs can share their opinions such as:
1. What further testing is recommended?
2. What are some suggested goals?
3. What are some evidence based interventions(research supported ideas preferred) and strategies?
We are looking to present many different case studies from SLPS. If an SLP has a case study, they can personally post the case study or choose to message Sarah and I on the page (message administrators). Then, we will post the question for you.
Yours in all things speech and language,
Jennifer Preschern, MA CCC-SLP
